Sheena has been a friend and neighbour of Matrix Arts Centre from its beginnings in 1989. This also happened to be the year that her daughter was born: Anna’s musical foundations were laid down in the Yamaha courses at Matrix Arts Centre, and she is now a successful professional singer and teacher. 

Sheena is happily retired, after many years of commuting to the Cancer Research UK laboratories in central London, where she undertook research into the molecular basis of the body plan in different organisms, from the fruit fly to the mouse.
