Matrix Arts Centre students play at the first UK JOC - January 2016

The first official national Junior Original Concert was held in the concert hall at Birmingham University and four composers from Matrix Arts Centre performed their work.

They were Max Blansjaar, Kate Taylor, Eliya Dhesi and Martin Ludden, all either current students or graduates of the Junior Advanced Course. These videos represent lots of hard work not only by the students, but also the teachers involved in developing and supporting these young composers as they prepared for this concert: Lindsay MacKenzie, Antonia King, Rachel Pearmain and Rossella Rubini.

Well done to all!
